Thank you to all the people, fans and friends that kept clicking for me to win! I really appreciate you guys! Things are going great since I went to Hollywood. Big Shot was the start of something BIG! I just finished the film, BREAKING NEWS and just finished a prestigious reading playing Richard Burton in the new play, CLEO by Pulitzer Prize winning author, Lawrence Wright. In addition, in June, I will be shooting two films! Playing the role of Jason in THE OTHER SIDE OF PARADISE and the lead role of Clay Wolf in JUNCTION, TEXAS. Benjamin Dane To Play Jason

In June, I will play the role of Jason in the new independent film, THE OTHER SIDE OF PARADISE. The film shoots in Texas and is written/directed by Justin Hilliard and stars Arianne Martin. It is a fantastic role that will bowl you away. Very stoked about the role and the film. It is a comedy about a girl, her brother and boyfriend who set out for a road trip through Texas and the interesting cast of characters they meet along the way. More news to come!

Benjamin Does Pulitzer Prize Winner's New Script!

This week in Austin, Texas, I played Richard Burton in CLEO, the new script from Pultizer Prize winner, Lawrence Wright (The Siege) . It was a tremendous experience. CLEO is the unheard back stage story of the making of the 1963 film, CLEOPATRA. The reading featured some of the most celebrated Texas talent and was directed by actor/director, Marco Perella. The story features the sordid and volatile affair of Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor that rocked the world at the time. It also presents the pressures assoiated with the production and the battle by director Joe Mankiewicz to finish the film. I was thrilled to be a part of such an amazing production. Marco Perella states, "Ben…you had the hardest job and you pulled off the Shakespeare, the accent, the cynical cad and the sweet scene at the end…all of it. Thank you for working so hard to make this character work!"
