This Privacy Policy applies to the information collected by Scouts Well Productions LLC ("Producer," "we," "our" or "us") in connection with the Big Shot Live Online Talent Search ("Talent Search") at Bigshotlive.com and at Big Shot Live branded web pages or portions of web pages hosted within participating television station web sites (collectively, the "Web Sites"). This Privacy Policy only covers information collected by us at the Web Sites, and does not cover any information collected at any other web site or offline by us (unless specifically stated). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.

Collection and Use of Information

Information You Provide Us
We may collect your personally identifiable information such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number. This information may be collected at various places and forms on the Web Sites, including when you register to participate or vote in the Talent Search or if you choose to participate in another feature or activity, such as a contest or message board or blog or if you sign-up for electronic newsletters or other membership services, , or when you communicate or otherwise interact with us.

The information you provide to us may be used to:
  • process your registration to participate or vote in the Talent Search;
  • communicate with you as a participant or voter in the Talent Search, including sending you e-mail newsletters and updates about the Talent Search;
  • send you newsletters and other communications you have agreed to receive;
  • process your entry or contact you in connection with a sweepstakes, contest or promotion;
  • customize the advertising, content and/or layout of the Web Sites;
  • administer the Web Sites' systems and for other internal business purposes;
  • notify you about updates to the Web Sites including, without limitation, in our discretion to notify you of changes to this Privacy Policy or other policies or terms that affect your use of the Web Sites;
  • comply with and monitor compliance with our agreements, terms and polices;
  • confirm or fulfill an order you have made or authorize a purchase or complete a transaction that you have requested; and
  • for other purposes disclosed when you provide your information.


Any content you submit to the Web Sites (including, without limitation any videos, photographs, comments, music, text or votes) may be published online or offline (including on the internet, on television, on cable, on a CD or DVD, through wireless distribution, and transmission of soft copies, or any other media or format currently existing or hereafter developed) and may therefore be publicly available. Also, we may publish your name, voice, likeness and other personally identifiable information in connection with the content you submit, and we may use your content in connection with advertising, marketing, publicity and promotional activities without compensation to you or your review, consent or approval. From time to time we may, but do not have the obligation to, examine your content or your behavior at the Web Sites to confirm that you are complying with our policies, terms and agreements.

You may have the opportunity to provide us with the personal or other information of a friend (or for a friend to provide such information about you), such as if you choose to send a friend an e-mail through the Web Sites. The personal information you supply us for those activities will not be retained for other purposes unless otherwise disclosed at the time you provide such information. We encourage you to send such items only to recipients who are your friends or family or persons with whom you have a relationship.

Moreover, when you send us a communication, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests or improve our services.

Web Site Usage Information & IP Address
Our web servers automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable information related to usage of the Web Sites. This may include a user's IP Address or information about traffic patterns on the Web Sites, including how many users log into the Web Sites on a daily basis. Our web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address, and when you request a page from the Web Sites, our servers log your IP address. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you're surfing the Internet. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration and to provide aggregate data to advertisers about the volume of use on the Web Sites.

Use of Cookies
We also use "cookies" on the Web Sites. A cookie is a small data file that our servers write to your hard drive for record keeping purposes when you visit them. Cookies allow us to measure activity on the Web Sites and to improve your user experience, including allowing you to visit various member-only parts of the Web Sites without re-registering. Cookies are used by us to measure activity on the Web Sites and make improvements and updates based on which areas are popular and which are not.

Use of Web Beacons

We use the information collected though this technology for a variety of purposes, such as counting web site visitors and monitoring Web Site traffic patterns.

For example, we may obtain geographic or demographic information, or information regarding your possible interests, from third parties, or we may receive information from a marketing partner in connection with a co-branded web site or promotion. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

In addition, we may share personally identifiable information with third parties, including, for marketing or promotional purposes, unless you choose to opt-in to such sharing at the time we collect your information.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information: We may share non-personally identifiable information with third parties, such as aggregated statistics, including for marketing or promotional purposes.

Third Parties Providing Services on our Behalf: In some situations, we will share your personal information with third parties who perform a particular service on our behalf, such as web site hosting and sending e-mails.

Sweepstakes, Contests and Promotions: On occasion, we may offer promotions -- like sweepstakes or contests --by ourselves or in conjunction with a third party sponsor. If you choose to enter a sweepstakes, contest, or other promotion, your personally identifiable information may be disclosed to third parties in connection with the administration of such promotion, including, without limitation, in connection with winner selection, prize fulfillment, and as required by law, such as on a winners list. Winners' information, such as name, city and state may be posted on the Web Sites. Also, by entering a sweepstakes, contest or other promotion, you are agreeing to the official rules or terms that govern such promotions. These rules or terms may dictate specific obligations such as allowing the sponsor(s) of the promotion to use your name, voice, or likeness in advertising or marketing.

Safety, Legal Obligations: We may divulge personally identifiable information if we are required to respond to subpoenas, court orders, legal process or other valid law enforcement measures; to comply with a legal obligation; at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation; to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing the Web Sites or applicable laws; or if we believe that any user has committed unlawful acts or acts that endanger the health or safety of another user or of the general public.

Business Transfers: We may also disclose and transfer user information, including personally identifiable information, in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, restructuring, the sale of substantially all of our assets, or other corporate change.

Third-Party Ad Serving
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit the Web sites. The third-party advertising technology that we use on the Web sites uses information derived from your visits to the Web Sites to target advertising within the Web Sites. In addition, our advertisers may use other third-party advertising technology to target advertising on the Web Sites and other sites. In the course of advertisements being served to you, a unique third-party cookie or cookies may be placed your browser. In addition, we may use Web beacons, provided by third-party advertising companies, to help manage and optimize our online advertising. In addition, we may share web site usage information with third party network advertisers and traffic management services for the purpose of managing and targeting advertisements on the Web Sites. We may use web beacons to collect and share this information.

Children and Privacy
We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children younger than the age of thirteen (13) on the Web Sites and we will delete any information later determined to be from a user younger than thirteen (13). Big Shot Live encourages parents and guardians to spend time with their children online, and to be fully familiar with the sites visited by their children. Message Boards and Chat

Your Choices:
To unsubscribe from our e-mail newsletters or other e-mail updates, please follow the instructions provided at the bottom of any such e-mails sent to you. We will process your request as quickly as we reasonably can, but it may not be possible to update our systems immediately. Please note that even if you choose to unsubscribe, we reserve the right to contact you regarding your use of the Web Sites and your participation in the Talent Search.

Links to Other Sites
It is important to note that the Web Sites may contain links to other web sites and that those sites may not follow the same privacy policies as us. For instance, if you click on an advertisement, this will take you away from the Web Sites and to an entirely different site. This can include links from advertisers, content providers and partners who may use Big Shot Live's logo and/or style as a result of a co-branding agreement. These sites may send their own cookies to you, and may collect data and make uses of it that do not involve us and that are not the same as detailed in this Privacy Policy.

Consent to Transfer
The Web Sites are operated in the United States. If you are located in the European Union, Canada or elsewhere outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States. By using the Web Sites or providing us with your information, you consent to this transfer.

Additional Information
No transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under our control to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While we strive to protect your information, we can not ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. Any such transmission is done at your own risk.

Big Shot Live reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. However, we will use your personally identifiable information in a manner consistent with the Privacy Policy in effect at the time you submitted the information, unless you consent to the new or revised policy.
